Supplying over 300,000 door blanks every year, Distinction Doors exceed their customers’ demands, meaning we have to match them.  Here to support all of their IT needs, whether it’s on a laptop or tablet, we’re there every step of the way to monitor their IT infrastructure. Turning over more than £30m, it was essential that we moulded our IT solutions to their specifics, we wanted to implement a reliable, resourceful and efficient IT management system so that they could concentrate on creating and distributing their outstanding products. Our responsibility was to migrate the warehouse operation from paper to an IT system, providing a suitable platform for the staff to work with – but our job wasn’t done there, we have guided them every step of the way since.


The Samuel Hodge Group

Founded in 1897, a company of this stature required a hands-on, innovative approach. The Samuel Hodge Group supply quality products world-wide, when they approached us, we wanted nothing more than to drive their already successful business growth. Netcom were approached by their team of existing IT support staff, and we worked together to produce a brand new platform for their ERP system. Moving the handling of the platform to Netcom freed up Samuel Hodge’s internal IT team to work on core systems. It also gave them time to bring in new business through internet marketing and web development projects. Our 24/7 monitoring of site to site colocation allowed them to concentrate on business solutions. We maintain, repair and update their networking infrastructure so they don’t have to, and with our immaculate security systems, they feel at ease with our IT support.

Tribe Marketing’s office premises are based in the same building as ‘The Apprentice’ TV show, they trusted us here at Netcom to take care of their IT provisions – we were worthy of being hired! Our main goal was to observe their growth and strategic plans to ensure they had enough IT support to match and fulfil their business growth requirements. We made sure they had the best internet connectivity and colocation to host their multimedia technologies and heavy internet users – the demand is high for Tribe Marketing, but through our unrivalled hardware and dedicated staff, we found the right solutions. Based in busy central London, our technical engineers worked hard to create an entire IT infrastructure that is reliable, fast and protected. A Tribal branded portal was created for the staff to raise any issues, giving us the ultimate connectivity with our clients.


RE: Netcom – Service Provision to the Holiday Inn Royal Victoria and Holiday Inn Express

Over the past 10 year our companies have called upon Netcom to support with IT Strategy, specialist projects and during system emergencies.

We found working with Netcom easy, seamless and of the highest professional standard. Furthermore, we have always found the Netcom staff knowledgeable and working with a sense of urgency and a can-do attitude.

The Holiday Inn Royal Victoria and the Holiday Inn Express as well as the back-office service to our group of companies was placed in a difficult situation at the beginning of this year when we suffered a major system failure and our IT Support Company required some additional capacity to manage the situation. As always Netcom provided instant support for a whole week to resolve the issues to get the business up and running and then redesign the system architecture and implement the new infrastructure needed.

Netcom is now providing two main services to our company, Server Management and System Security. Both of this services are absolutely paramount to the existence of our company and keeping our customers and business data save and secure.

The monitoring technology deployed by Netcom is second to none and so sophisticated that any system irregularities or hard ware issues are identified before they become a problem which provides us comfort in running an efficient business.
